UPDATE: It looks like coupons.com took down the coupon for $7/1 Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit. However, you can print a $5/1 coupon from the Scrubbing Bubbles website.
The cleaner in my Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner is running low and I’ve been hopelessly searching for a good deal on cleaner refills. Now, thanks to some new coupons on Coupons.com and some old coupons from Target, there is actually a way to get PAID for buying them!
Here is my scenario:
Buy (4) Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Cleaner Refills, $4.14
Use (2) B1G1 Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Refill
Use (1) $2/2 Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Refills
Use (2) $1.50/2 Scrubbing Bubbles Product, exp. 3-31-10 (SS 11/15/09)
(** this is a Target store coupon and can be stacked with the manufacturer coupons)
$0.82 ea. after coupons!
Then, I’ll submit the receipt for the $5 SC Johnson rebate that’s still available for a $1.72 money maker!
If you don’t have the base for the Automatic Shower Cleaner system, there’s a great deal on the starter kit, too:
Buy (1) Scrubbing Bubble Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit, $12.99
Use (1) $7/1 Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit
Use (1) $5 Target Gift Card wyb Scrubbing Bubbles Kit, exp. 3-31-10 (SS 11/15/09)
(** this is a Target store coupon and can be stacked with the manufacturer coupons)
$0.99 after coupons and Target Gift Card!
You can combine the two deals and the rebate for some pretty awesome money makers. For instance, you can buy (1) starter kit and (8) refills, spend $7.55, and submit for (3) $5 SC Johnson rebates to get a total of $15 back. That’s a $7.45 money maker! Or, you can buy (2) starter kits and (4) refills, spend $5.26, and submit for (2) $5 SC Johnson rebates to get a total of $10 back. That’s still a $4.74 money maker!
Don’t forget to ask for rebate receipts if you plan to submit more than one rebate, as each rebate requires an original receipt. Even though their cash registers are setup to do so, some cashiers are hesitant to print rebate receipts. It helps to bring the rebate form with you to show your cashier to avoid problems.
